It gives us pride to talk about the "'MITSOT Alumni
Association", which will work as a part and parcel of MIT's
Central Organisation. Having practical experience in the field, wherever our students are working, they will surely visualize that the new global order plays a vital role and brings a sharp focus on the necessity of essentiality and to effectively channelise all the human resources for achieving any work apart from its significance to any job. We have now realised that there is a boom in the opportunities for rewarding careers and consulting positions in real life having some specialisation in various streams of education. Our alumni will be our most respectable resource persons from their core discipline and from whom we expect enormous as well as comprehensive assistance about their fields of work which they truly satisfy. They will help our organisation, being past students, to grow intellectually by sharing their experiences with our present students. With their rich post-academic experience, they will prove to be an asset to us and with their practical experience they will definitely contribute towards some new innovatory projects and schemes which we propose and plan to launch and carry out. The knowledge of their practical field experience and various developments will place a premium on the present young students possessing some superior skills and talents in the emerging Techno Savvy students. We aim at consolidating the bond between our Alumni and our present students. We would keep the alumni informed about the developments that are taking place in our Institution thus realising our aspirations to be one of the India's leading institutions with regard to teaching continuing education, research, community services and different programmes. The numerous students with undergraduate and postgraduate experience in MAEER Institutions, Maharashtra are part of the Alumni family. In Order to bring together all MAEER's past students, the Alumni Office traces Indian and Foreign students who have graduated from MIT. Slowly but steadily the Alumni Association is establishing groups of MIT's alumni in various states/cities, within and outside India in order to provide the opportunity to establish links, exchanges and friendships between fellow alumni nationwide / worldwide. Established in 1983, MIT celebrated its Silver Jubilee year in the year 2007.A General meeting of MIT alumni was held on 29th Dec. 2007 at MIT campus. On this occassion Dr. V. D.
