Introduction to MITSEL



Visualizing need, MAEER's MIT is escorting the field of Lighting Management to develop application oriented educational programmes as per the need of the industry. MITSOL is established with an aim to provide in-depth knowledge and develop professionals in the field of Lighting including Illumination Engineering incorporating the art, science and technology of lighting. It also gestates the aspiration to produce lighting professionals for deployment in India and overseas. Close at heels to the standard forms of incandescent and fluorescent lighting is the avant-garde technology tossing out differentiable and energy-efficient forms of lighting.


To match steps with the changing pace of technology and to keep the students updated with different types of light sources and their latest applications, the Academy proposes to conduct extensive applied research alongwith regular lessons of learning. Designed for the benefit of students intending to pursue higher studies in the field of Lighting Technology & Energy Management.
