The Expected Growth
The expected growth of 10-12% over the next few years has set the Lighting Industry
bandwagon rolling at a blitzing speed. With the Government Of India liberalizing
its trading policy, new doors have been opened for international organizations wanting
to enter the mammoth Indian market thereby enabling the Indian lighting industry
to find a niche for its production in the world market.
PGP in Lighting Technology & Energy Management (PGP-LTEM)
In view of the provision of Energy Conservation Act and envisaging the demand of
Energy Managers not only in Lighting Industry but all other industries, MITSOL has
taken initiative to rechristen and redesign its existing PGP in Lighting Technology
& Management (PGP-LTM) as PGP in Lighting Technology & Energy Management
(PGPLTEM). The program will contain all major inputs required for becoming a Energy
Manager.
Opportunities
Thus a student completing this Techno-Managerial Program successfully stand chances
for employment not only for Marketing Lighting Products, but also as Energy Manager
