It is an autonomous program and not affiliated to any University / Institute. The Institute is in the process of getting affiliation from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
ELCOMA (Electrical Lamp and Component Manufacturers' Association of India) apex body of lighting manufacturers welcomed the initiative of MIT in launching the Academy and assured their full support for our programmes including training, placement etc.
ISLE (Indian Society of Lighting Engineers) has also appreciated and supported the efforts taken by MIT-LRA for such programmes.
